Founding Background:

Institute for Information Industry(III) has been supporting Nangang Software Incubator & Kaohsiung Software Park and has led to high operating performances such as “Project for NSI & KSI mutual entrusting the operation.” These performances adopted the operating model from Act for Promotion and were tendered by the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, started from 2014.

To keep fulfilling the mission of incubating technology industries, III was granted continued management of both centers. On July 1 in the same year, the Industry Research & Service Division of III set up an incubating center in charge of running NSI & KSI. The center has been acting under the government to serve and give support to startup companies. Dedicating itself to connecting with the world and expanding marketing, the incubating center offers consultancy for newly-stationed companies, support from which they benefit greatly.

Main Serviceus

￭ Incubating Business: Provide a diverse incubating space leasing, including general office, small incubator room, co-op workspace, flexible space, conference room and other rental-related business. Also, provide professional incubating related services.

￭ Special Project Service:

(1) Media cooperation between domestic and abroad big companies, provide service for Taiwan’s startup companies, such as team recruitment, business outsourcing, technology research and development and base expansion.

 (2) Government subsidies, business competition, business loans, awards applications and other related project services.

 (3) Other government or civic committee planning services, such as counseling, training, activities, and so on.

￭ Investment Service: Provide start-up companies to get business funds or access to early funding and long-term growth fund-raising services.

Organization & Staff

The company structure divided into three parts: Sales Department, Service Department, and Project Service Department. Mr. Po-Jen HSIAO is the chairman of the company, and he is leading a team of 15 employees. Their average of working experience is 5.2 years. Apart from the management team from Innovative DigiTech-Enabled Applications & Services (IDEAS) Institute, other employees from other departments are also professionals in the field of innovation and incubation. Our associates will maintain experience and enthusiasm when taking part in the critical mission of furthering the industry.
